Aft...Visiting Suffren has had a lasting impression! After time to digest all that was presented and discovered, I'm still in a 'wonderland' of thoughts and ideas. With ultimate hospitality Peggy shared valuable information teacher to teacher. What did I learn that day? First, new adventures are successful because of interested teachers and supporters. A team of believers can help to ease doubt and worry, allowing us to teach forward. Also, we don't know it all, but we can share what we know - and together we will learn more. That's a wonderful gift. Most importantly, I've witnessed actual and virtual student engagement and motivation... it's key to true learning. So, overall our visit was another great opportunity to learn more - with a cherry on top (her name is Peggy)! - DPerryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2530060811592225161.post-88236098554620220762009-05-24T10:03:17.364-04:002009-05-24T10:03:17.364-04:00What an exciting outcome - with Westport students ...What an exciting outcome - with Westport students recognized for their video production!I love the fact that students prepared videos with this opportunity in mind, and the result is REAL and REWARDING. Certificates, trophies and equipment for the school - how awesome is that?! The Cable Access Awards provides an additional purpose and goal for students to focus on successful elements of media communication. All of this authentically supports the video production piece within our schools. We've been pleased to participate and look forward to doing it again next year!
